Nintendo is all about innovation. Not just great graphics and mascots, which they do well at, but also innovative game play. The Nintendo DS is a prime example of innovative play. Two screens to see everything with. They can have seperate action on each screen or be combined for a larger area of gameplay. The bottom screen is a touchpad for scribblings and controlling all the action. A chat application comes pre-installed as part of the OS. There is a microphone that can be used to try different elements of game play like blowing clouds of the screen by huffing into the device, or talking to it to command a pet dog to sit. It has wireless networking capabilities, allowing for connecting to other devices in proximity to play or chat, as well as connecting to the internet for some cross global play. And the way things are setup, if you need to pause a game, you simply close the unit itself. It will pause exactly where you left off. Pretty cool.
